LSU is 14-7 on the year and 9-3 in the SEC after defeating South Carolina at home and Arkansas on the road last weekend. The Tigers are currently on a nine-match winning streak, the longest for the team since the 2010 season. LSU has eclipsed its conference win total from both 2012 and 2013 and is one win away from earning double-digit league victories for the first time since 2011. LSU is on its longest conference winning streak since the 2009 season, as the 2014 team is just the third team in program history to win at least nine straight matches in SEC play. The streak is the second-longest currently in the league. Five of the nine wins during the streak have come on the road. During the winning streak, LSU has swept four of the nine, while defeating three in five sets. The Tigers are hitting .296 as a team, while holding opponents to a .193 average during its streak. South Carolina and Georgia both took the first set off of LSU over the weekend, and were just the second and third teams to do so during the winning streak.
