BATON ROUGE — For the second time in 60 all-time meetings, LSU and Arkansas will kickoff at night when the teams meet in Fayetteville on Nov. 15, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.
Kickoff between the Tigers and Razorbacks at Reynolds Razorback Stadium is set for 7 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
The rare night kickoff between the schools will be the latest kickoff in series history dating to 1901. In the only previous primetime game, kickoff was at 6:06 p.m. CT in 2009 at Tiger Stadium where LSU won 33-30 in overtime.
With the announcement, all 12 of LSU’s regular-season games will kickoff at night in 2014.
Prior to facing Arkansas, LSU plays host to No. 4 Alabama on Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. CT on CBS. Following an open date on Nov. 22, LSU travels to College Station for its regular-season finale on Thanksgiving night against Texas A&M.
