BATON ROUGE – LSU and Alabama will play in primetime and on CBS again this year as the Southeastern Conference and the network announced the Tigers and Crimson Tide will square off at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, in Tiger Stadium.
It marks the fourth-consecutive year that the LSU-Alabama game will be shown in primetime on CBS. It’s also the seventh-straight night game for the Tigers at home and the first time since 2009 that every LSU home game has been played at night.
LSU, which knocked off third-ranked Ole Miss on Saturday, is 7-2 overall and 3-2 in league play. The Tigers are off this week before returning to action next week against the Crimson Tide.
Since 1970, LSU has played host to eight primetime football games on network television (CBS, NBC and ABC).
