BATON ROUGE — LSU’s 24th fourth-quarter comeback under head coach Les Miles helped the Tigers advance to No. 16 in the AP Top 25 and No. 17 in the Amway Coaches Poll released Sunday morning.

LSU (7-2, 3-2 SEC) knocked then-third ranked Ole Miss from the list of unbeatens on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium, 10-7, in an old school slobberknocker that sent the student body pouring out of its northwest corner habitat.

The Tigers capped a 95-yard scoring drive – that started with 12-straight runs – with a 3-yard play-action pass from Anthony Jennings to tight end Logan Stokes with 5:03 to play. LSU’s defense came up with turnovers on downs and via interception in the final two minutes to send the Rebels faithful home with a sixth loss in seven trips to Death Vallley.
