BATON ROUGE – Coach Johnny Jones announced on Wednesday that freshman guard Carlton Speight and senior guard Antonio Robinson have joined the LSU men’s basketball team as walk-ons for the 2014-15 season.
Speight was born in New Orleans and presently lives in Slidell. He last attended Harding Academy of Memphis and averaged 13 points a game and seven rebounds in earning All-District and All-Regional honors. He is 6-4, 200 pounds and right-handed. He will wear No. 32 this season.
Robinson, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who presently lives in nearby Bossier City, attended Parkway High School in Bossier City and was at McPherson College in Kansas before coming to LSU. He was a member of the high school honor roll and Class 4A All-District Academic team. He is 6-1, 170 pound and right-handed. He will wear No. 13 this season.
That brings the total number of players to 15 for the 2014-15 season on the men’s basketball team.
