BATON ROUGE — LSU’s Oct. 11 game at Florida will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT (7:30 p.m. local) on Saturday and will be televised by the SEC Network, the league announced Sunday.
LSU (4-2, 0-2 SEC) and Florida (3-1, 2-1 SEC) were among 10 teams whose games were put on a six-day hold by CBS this past week. Typically, game times and television networks are announced by the SEC 12 days prior to kickoff.
With today’s announcement, LSU’s first seven games will kickoff at night for the first time since 1972.
The start time and TV network for LSU’s Oct. 18 home game against Kentucky is expected to be announced on Monday.
