VENICE, Fla. – Former LSU women’s golfer Lindsay Gahm made it through a second stage of qualifying Friday for a potential spot on the LPGA Tour for 2015.
Gahm, who finished her LSU career in the spring of 2014, posted a 72-hole total of 288 to easily advance through as one of the top 80 and ties that will play in the LPGA qualifying final in early December at LPGA International in Daytona Beach.
Gahm had rounds of 74-71-72-71 to finish in a group tied for 22nd. By completing 72 holes, Gahm is guaranteed Symetra Tour status and will be trying to get an LPGA status in the December event.
