BATON ROUGE – The LSU women’s basketball program received the SEC’s non-conference television schedule as announced Tuesday. In total, the Lady Tigers will have 20 of their 30 regular season games carried live.
The SEC Network has added the Louisiana Tech game (Dec. 3) to its docket and moved tipoff to 6 p.m. from the Maravich Center. The Lady Tigers also learned that their remaining six non-conference home matchups, both exhibition contests and the Georgia game (Feb. 19) will be available online on SEC Network + via the WatchESPN app and http://www.watchespn.com/.
The remaining non-conference tilts waiting a tip time are LSU’s three games versus Kansas State, Santa Clara and UTEP at the Hardwood Tournament of Hope from Nov. 25-27 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Also to be determined are the Lady Tigers second game at the Miami Holiday Classic against either the host Hurricanes or Florida A&M on Dec. 29.
LSU has secured three consecutive 20-plus win seasons and three NCAA Tournament appearances highlighted by back-to-back NCAA Sweet 16 trips under Caldwell. The Lady Tigers will host a pair of exhibition games against Loyola at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 and Mississippi College at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9.
LSU is accepting $20 season ticket deposits online at http://www.LSUtix.net/. The $20 deposit will go toward the purchase of a season ticket or mini-plan for the 2014-15 season.
