BATON ROUGE — When Mississippi State comes to town on Sept. 20, LSU football’s third game of a four-game homestand will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT at Tiger Stadium on ESPN, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday morning.
The matchup with be LSU’s first SEC game of the 2014 season and will be the Tigers’ annual “Gold Game.”
Before facing the Bulldogs, LSU (2-0) will take on Louisiana-Monroe on Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU. The first four games of the 2014 season are scheduled for nighttime kickoffs, including the first three in Tiger Stadium.
Kickoff times and network television for SEC football games is typically announced 12 days prior to kickoff.
