BATON ROUGE — The very popular annual event “Mall Ball” is set for fans to come meet and visit with members of the LSU men’s and basketball team Sunday beginning at 2:30 p.m. at the Mall of Louisiana.
For the second straight year, the “Mall Ball” event officially begins the “Road to Tipoff” for the two teams that will lead through a series of events to the opening games for the two teams that went to post-season play in 2014.
The event will take place in the Dillard’s wing of the Mall from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 with the team signing autographs and taking pictures with fans on the specially designed LSU “Mall Ball” court.
All “Road to Tipoff” events are free for fans to attend and information on events will be available on social media and LSUsports.net.
The LSU women will open their 2014-15 season on Friday, Nov. 14 against Arkansas-Little Rock, while the LSU men will begin their 2014-15 regular season on Saturday, Nov. 15 at noon against Gardner-Webb.
