ORLANDO, Fla. — The LSU Tiger Girls finished third in the College Dance Team Division IA Hip Hop Championship and the LSU Cheerleading squad was fifth at the UCA Championships held Jan. 17-19 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
The UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships are the most prestigious college cheerleading championship in the country.
The cheerleaders finished fifth in both the UCA competition and the Large Coed Team Cheer Finals of the World University Championships.
The Tiger Girls added a sixth-place finish in the finals of the Division IA Jazz competition.
Mike the Tiger was 10th in the finals of the mascot championship.
