BATON ROUGE – The LSU volleyball team learned Tuesday that its November 4 match versus Ole Miss has been pushed back to a 3 p.m. start time to accommodate Cox Sports Television. The Tigers will now have a program-record nine matches on television during the 2012 season.
LSU will appear four times on CST (Cox Cable Channel 37/1037 in HD) which includes matches against Arkansas (Sept. 30), Texas A&M (Oct. 26), Mississippi State (Oct. 28) and Ole Miss (Nov. 4). The Tigers also will have a trio of home tilts versus Georgia (Oct. 3), Tennessee (Oct. 10) and Arkansas (Nov. 21) carried by ESPNU (Cox Cable Channel 243/1243 in HD).
Sun Sports Florida has picked LSU’s match at Florida (Nov. 16), while the Tigers already appeared on the Longhorn Network during their season-opener at No. 2 Texas (Aug. 24).
After spending the first four weekends on the road, LSU makes its much-anticipated home debut of the 2012 season and squares off versus Kentucky. Friday’s first serve is set for 7 p.m. inside the Maravich Center with live video and live stats available inside the Geaux Zone on www.LSUsports.net/live.
