BATON ROUGE – As the 2012 LSU Soccer team kicks off Southeastern Conference play on Friday night against the 10th-ranked Texas A&M Aggies, the program’s alumnae are invited to join the festivities as the Tigers host LSU Soccer Alumni Weekend on Friday and Saturday.
As part of Friday’s SEC opener, LSU’s coaching staff and the LSU National L Club will sponsor an Alumni Tailgate from 5-7 p.m. CT at the Northeast corner of the LSU Soccer Stadium nearest the Football Operations Center leading up to kickoff. A special recognition of alumnae will be held on the field at halftime of Friday’s match against the Aggies.
A reserved number of tickets are available to alumnae and their families to purchase and cheer on the Tigers against the Idaho Vandals on Saturday as part of this year’s LSU Soccer Alumni Weekend.
Soccer alums are invited to attend Saturday’s L Club Tailgate beginning at 3 p.m. CT under the offices of the Tiger Athletic Foundation at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The tailgate will begin at 3 p.m. and run through kickoff at 7 p.m. as the Tigers take on Idaho in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.
