BATON ROUGE – This week’s edition of LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
LSU Tiger Tracks begins with a preview by correspondent Garrett Walvoord of Saturday’s LSU-Idaho football game in Tiger Stadium, as the Tigers seek an NCAA-record 40th straight non-conference regular-season victory.
The show continues with a visit from John Haynes, producer of “Ole War Skule,” a highly acclaimed documentary about the history of LSU Football that debuted last year. Haynes discusses a new 1950s Era edition of the movie that has recently been released.
LSU Tiger Tracks concludes with a review by Walvoord of the tremendous success enjoyed by LSU athletes this summer at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
