BATON ROUGE – The LSU volleyball team learned Friday that a pair of its road matches will be picked up by television. The Tigers now have a program record seven regular season television matches.
LSU’s season opener with No. 2 Texas next Friday at 6 p.m. will be carried by the Longhorn Network. The station is available only to Verizon FiOS customers as a national provider.
Cox Sports Television [CST] has added the LSU-Arkansas contest on September 30 as part of the Razorbacks package with the network. First serve will be moved up to 1 p.m. to accommodate CST.
LSU will hold its annual Purple & Gold Scrimmage Saturday at 4:30 p.m. inside the Maravich Center. Admission to the scrimmage and all 2012 home matches at the Maravich Center are free compliments of the Advocate’s “Geaux Free” program.
