BATON ROUGE – LSU Sports Properties, the exclusive marketing and multi-media right partner of LSU Athletics, has announced that Subway restaurants are continuing its partnership with the athletic department and will again feature a limited-edition LSU cup in its Baton Rouge area stores.
The 2012 LSU Subway cup features one of the most popular mascots in all of college athletics Mike the Tiger. The 30 ounce cups, which are offered in stores now through the end of August, feature pictures of Mike the Tiger through the years as well as Mike VI, LSU’s current Tiger.
The collector’s cup has proven popular among Tigers fans, as more than 250,000 cups were distributed last year to patrons and a similar number is expected to leave the local Subway stores this year.
There are over 85 Subway restaurants, all locally owned and operated, in the Baton Rouge area that will be selling LSU cups this year including locations on or near the LSU campus.
