Mack Collects SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – LSU senior right-hander Brittany Mack secured SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week accolades Monday as announced by the league office. It marks the fourth career weekly award for Mack from the SEC. She joins former All-American hurlers Kristin Schmidt and Emily Turner in a tie for the second-most SEC weekly awards acquired by a Tiger pitcher.

Mack secured two wins, tallied a 0.00 ERA and notched 16 strikeouts in her 14 innings of work. She has won seven consecutive decisions and cut 1.54 points off her ERA since March 3. The Round Rock, Texas, native battled the elements during a Tuesday triumph over Georgia Tech, a team receiving votes in both Top 25 polls.
