BATON ROUGE – LSU’s softball game versus Georgia Tech has been moved from Wednesday night to Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Tiger Park due to projected severe weather in the Baton Rouge area.
Wednesday’s weather forecast calls for significant storm activity, so LSU officials decided to move the game to give the team the best opportunity to play.
Tuesday’s 6 p.m. start time also will allow fans to attend both the softball game and the NCAA Women’s Basketball Second Round tilt at 8:30 p.m. between LSU and Penn State at the Maravich Center.
Fans should bring their original Georgia Tech game ticket for admission to Tiger Park. Due to the schedule change, the LSU Sports Radio Network will not carry the game on Country Legends 104.9 FM nor will there be live video or live audio available in the Geaux Zone on LSUsports.net
In addition to live stats, fans can follow in-game updates on LSU softball’s social media outlets at www.Facebook.com/lsusoftball and @lsu_softball on Twitter.
The Tiger Park Ticket Booth will open 90 minutes prior to first pitch. As part of the program’s inaugural “Pack to the Park” contest, all tickets are $1. The first 1,000 fans will receive a LSU softball roll banner.
