BATON ROUGE – The LSU softball team will have its games broadcasted during the 2012 season on a new Baton Rouge affiliate Country Legends 104.9 FM beginning Wednesday as announced by LSU Sports Properties.
The 31-game package on the LSU Sports Radio Network features all 28 SEC contests starting with tonight’s doubleheader against Auburn. The network also will cover all of LSU softball’s postseason games from the SEC and NCAA Tournaments.
Patrick Wright, the voice of Tiger softball entering his 16th season, will provide all of the play-by-play action. Kent Lowe also returns for his 16th season as the color analyst for home games, while Matt Dunaway joins Wright for his fourth season on the air during road games.
All broadcasts begin 15 minutes prior to first pitch with the “Woman’s Hospital On Deck Show” and also are available inside the Geaux Zone on www.LSUsports.net/live.
