BATON ROUGE – The LSU Athletics Department wants to invite bowlers and their families in town for the United States Bowling Congress Open Championships to visit the LSU campus and join LSU fans in rooting for the Tigers at various athletic events.
The list of events start Wednesday at both Alex Box Stadium for a 3 p.m. baseball game with McNeese State and then that night at 7 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center as LSU hosts Georgia in men’s basketball.
Bowlers can show their USBC membership card at the ticket windows at the respective venues on game days and purchase up to four tickets for the discounted price of $5. A bowler must show a valid ID with the membership card.
Discounted prices will also be offered to any Monday-Wednesday baseball game ($5), Friday night gymnastic meets ($1) and all home softball games ($1). Tickets are available for all regular season home events while supplies last.
