“Hey Tiger Fans!
Opening weekend is ONE DAY AWAY, and we can hardly contain our excitement to start this season. Myself, along with my 21 other teammates, couldn’t be more ready to get on the field and start displaying all the hard work we have been putting in these past six months. The entire team has put in extra time to get better, and we aim to win it all this year.
All three of our new coaches have brought something to this team and this program. Coach Torina has brought a young, exciting and experienced knowledge of the game. Coach Dobson has flooded us with his explosive offense philosophy. Coach Leftwich brings the positive vibe to this team, and she really accents Torina and Dobson by taking what they say to us and bringing it to the next level with it. We are set in and extremely confident with everything we have learned in the past six months.
This year, you will see an improved offensive attack that features a ton speed and power. Of course, you’ll also see our always-exceptional defense and stellar pitching. I really believe the 2012 team will be remembered for upsetting some premier opponents!
I hope to see everyone at Friday’s home opener against Penn State at 6 p.m. I am confident that you will see all of our hard work put into action. Even better, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of the best college softball atmosphere in the world!
Geaux Tigers,
Cassie
