BATON ROUGE – Season tickets for the 2012 LSU softball season are now on sale as the Tigers usher in the next chapter of its storied history under first-year coach Beth Torina.
Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets to guarantee great seats at Tiger Park for LSU’s challenging home slate which features non-conference tilts against 2011 NCAA Tournament participants Florida State, Georgia Tech, Michigan and Penn State along with electrifying SEC series versus Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.LSUtix.net, the official website of LSU Athletics. Ticket also can be purchased in person at the ticket office on the first floor of the Athletics Administration Building or by calling (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587.
LSU has already sold out of chair-back seats for the third consecutive season. Limited bleacher seating in sections 101, 102, 106 and 107 located directly behind the first and third base dugouts are available for $75.
The Tigers notched a school-record attendance for the fifth consecutive season in 2011 as LSU averaged 1,247 fans over 27 dates for a total attendance of 33,694.
Single game tickets will go on-sale at a later date. LSU students, faculty and staff are admitted free to Tiger softball games with a valid LSU ID.
