LEXINGTON, Ky. – Cati Leak and Katie Lindelow, a pair of LSU volleyball signees, were selected to the sixth annual American Volleyball Coaches Association [AVCA] Under Armour Girls High School All-American list.
The organization picked 24 players to each the First-and-Second Teams and 52 players earned honorable mention status. Both Leak and Lindelow will join the Tigers as freshmen for the 2012 season.
In 2009, Desiree Elliott, Avery Striebel and Nicole Willis garnered AVCA Under Armour All-American Second-Team accolades.
LSU heads into its toughest road swing of the season. The Tigers meet No. 16 Kentucky on Friday followed by a Sunday tilt with No. 14 Tennessee.
