BATON ROUGE — The Official Mobile Applications of LSU Athletics are now available in both the iTunes Store and the Android Marketplace, it was announced by LSU Sports Properties and its digital media partner NeuLion on Thursday.
Since the release of its iPhone, iPod Touch and Android applications, more than 40,000 Tigers fans have downloaded the apps. The iPad application is now available in the iTunes store.
Both free and paid mobile applications ($4.99 per year) are available and include the latest News, Scores, Schedules, Rosters and Live Stats from LSUsports.net.
The fully customized iPad application is $9.99 per year. There is not a free version of this application.

Users who purchase the iPad app or upgrade to the “LSUsports Mobile Plus” app will receive the latest on-demand video highlights and features from the Geaux Zone, as well as access to live streaming audio (IMPORTANT: Access to live streaming events requires an active Geaux Zone login).
With a purchase of the LSUsports Mobile app, members of the Geaux Zone on LSUsports.net now have access to live streaming audio of all LSU Sports Radio Network events on iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android devices.
Subscribers who purchase the iPad app will also have access to live, HD-quality video from 16 basketball games (five mens, 11 women’s) and at least 30 home baseball games in 2011-12. Look for the gold video camera icon (
) on LSU sports’ schedules for details on events offered live.
Along with live streaming video, the LSUsports for iPad app features on-demand video from the Geaux Zone, news, scores, schedules, photo galleries and live stats.
