This past Friday, the Tiger Athletic Foundation held is 13th Annual TAF President’s Cup Championship at the University Club Golf Course. This tournament is held each year to raise money in support of the LSU men’s and women’s golf programs. This year 25 teams teed up to support our student-athletes.
With the support of these fine sponsors along with the participation of the players on the twenty five teams, TAF was able to raise over $30,000 for the golf programs. This money will be divided between the men’s and women’s programs and will go a long way to ensure that our teams continue to compete at a championship level.
TAF would like to congratulate the winners of this year’s President’s Cup, Team Long, pictured with TAF President and CEO, General Ron Richard and LSU President John Lombardi on the 50 yard line prior to the kickoff of the Florida vs. LSU football Game. Team members include: David Long, Al Long, Jeff Proctor, and Chris Good.
We would like to thank all that participated for once again making the TAF President’s Cup Championship a resounding success.
