DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — Several members of the LSU gymnastics team volunteered their services at a local benefit for prostate cancer awareness on Saturday at Riverside Lodge Sporting Clays.

Kaleigh Dickson, Ericka Garcia, Sarie Morrison, Shelby Prunty and Sidney Sanabria-Robles took part in the One Man Can Make a Difference fundraiser for prostate cancer awareness and research.

The gymnasts interacted with participants in the annual clay shooting fundraiser, and they helped raise money through food sales, raffle tickets and a silent auction.

“It is very important to do everything you can to make a difference,” Sanabria-Robles said. “It felt really good to pitch in to help with this critical research.”

The gymnastics team continues a full practice schedule in preparation for the first team intrasquad event on Oct. 14.
