BATON ROUGE — Capital One Financial Corporation has pinned Mike the Tiger against Oregon State’s Benny Beaver in week two of the 10th-annual mascot competition.
Although the fourth ranked Bayou Bengals returned victoriously from Cowboy Stadium against third ranked Oregon 40-27, Mike fell short in the Capital One voting to the Duck despite out performing the Duck in the number of pushups during Saturday’s game. The Tigers are determined to garner a victory this week against Oregon State.
Mike the Tiger will be featured in a famous movie scene every week produced by LSU. Look for the second video featuring Mike from the movie “Home Alone”, today after Lunch With Les presented by Subway. The video can be viewed on the Youtube channel LSUsportsnet or on Mike the Tiger’s Facebook page.
