BATON ROUGE – The 2011-12 season premiere of LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday on Cox Sports Television.

The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.

LSU Tiger Tracks opens this week with a preview by correspondent Garrett Walvoord of the Tigers’ Top 5 showdown with the Oregon Ducks Saturday at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Senior associate athletic director Verge Ausberry, a former LSU linebacker, drops by the studio to offer an inside look at the 2011 football season and the impact of the highly-anticipated Cowboys Classic versus Oregon.

The show concludes with a review by Walvoord of the LSU volleyball squad’s season-opening performance in last weekend’s Tiger Classic tournament. Coach Fran Flory and her team are seeking to win LSU’s seventh consecutive SEC West title this season.
