BATON ROUGE – The LSU men’s basketball team spent an hour in the practice facility meeting room learning some media techniques from veteran instructor Dr. Shirley White of locally-based Success Images.
Dr. White, who works with several of the athletics teams at LSU, spoke to the team not only about media situations, but their appearance in public situations and some of the good and bad things regarding social media.
She worked in the media room with all 12 members of the team, bringing many of the players to the front of the room to do mock one-on-one interviews, but then taking the three freshman LSU Tigers – Johnny O’Bryant, John Isaac and Anthony Hickey – to the front table and the format that LSU uses for their post-game interviews so they could get used to that format.
