BATON ROUGE – In an effort to give fans and prospective student-athletes an inside look at its facilities, LSU Athletics launched a new virtual tour with 360-degree panoramic photos at www.LSUsports.net/360.
The images can be viewed on both desktop browsers and mobile devices including iPhones and iPads.
Currently, several 360 panoramas of LSU facilities are available, including the new Alex Box Stadium, the Football Operations Center and the new Basketball Practice Facility.
“These panoramas will allow us to bring our facilities right to the recruit’s living room,” LSU baseball hitting coach Javi Sanchez said. “Alex Box is the best stadium in the entire country, and it’s really neat that we’re able to display full panoramic views of the facilities within the ‘Box.'”
More venues will be added in the coming months, including a football gameday experience with a tour of the locker room, chute and from the Eye of the Tiger just prior to kickoff.
