Hello Tiger Fans!
We arrived in Oxford last night at 6:30 p.m. thanks to the LSU bus, AKA the Tiger Express. The team and I are excited for the beginning of postseason play!
A big reason why the Tigers are in bright moods today is yesterday marked the last day of school for the majority of the team. Woohooooooo! Because we hit the road yesterday, all of our finals had to be scheduled before our departure. Talk about crunch time! These last few days have been filled with flashcards, highlighters, and A LOT of coffee, but it all will be worth it when the final grades come in!
With all of the heavy duty school work out of the way, we are able to focus on what lies ahead. Our first opponent in the SEC Tournament will be the Georgia Bulldogs. The momentum and morale of the Tigers is at an all-time high, and we can’t wait to play the Dawgs again.
It was great to see you all come out and support Coach Girouard last weekend when we took on South Carolina for our final home series of the season.
Hope you all will have a chance to tune in at 4 p.m. on ESPNU and watch as we take on the Georgia in first round of the tournament!
Geaux Tigers,
Heidi “H-Pop” Pizer #12
