BATON ROUGE – The LSU Athletics Department is calling on area children ages 12 and under to show off their drawing and coloring skills and their love for LSU and LSU Athletics by participating in the first drawing/coloring contest for the LSU men’s basketball game on Feb. 20 against Florida.

Every child that submits an entry will receive a free ticket to the LSU/Florida game. Families that have more than one child entering the contest are asked to send the forms together so families can be seated together. Adult tickets for this game are just $10 with submission of child’s entry.
Prizes will be awarded on the basis of creativity, artistic design and skill.
Entries will be broken down into the following age categories: age 4 and under; age 5-6; age 7-8; age 9-10; and, age 11-12.
For those age brackets 8 and under, first place is an LSU Coloring Book and membership in Mike’s Kids Club. Second place is an LSU Kids Backpack and third is a Mike the Tiger puzzle.
For those in the ages 9-12 contests, first prize is an autographed basketball from Coach Trent Johnson and a $50 LSUshop.net gift certificate. Second place will be a $50 LSUshop.net gift certificate and an LSU Mini-Hoop with third place a Glen Davis Bobble head Doll and an LSU Mini-Hoop.
