BATON ROUGE – Season tickets are on sale now for the third season of LSU softball at Tiger Park. Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets in order to guarantee great seats for LSU’s marquee home schedule which features SEC heavyweights Alabama, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee.
The Tigers also welcome 2010 NCAA Tournament participants Hofstra, McNeese State and Texas to the Capitol City during non-conference action.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.LSUtix.net, the official website of LSU Athletics. Ticket also can be purchased in person at the ticket office on the first floor of the Athletics Administration Building or by calling (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587.
LSU has already sold out of chair-back seats for the second consecutive season. Bench-back seating in sections 102 and 106 located directly behind the first and third base dugouts is available for $75.
The Tigers posted a school-record attendance for the fourth consecutive season as LSU averaged 1,182 fans over 25 dates for a total attendance of 29,538.
Single game tickets and triple play mini-plans will go on-sale at a later date. LSU students, faculty and staff are admitted free to Tiger softball games with a valid LSU ID.
