BATON ROUGE — Coming off its best offensive performance in 30 games, the LSU football team remained No. 5 in the Bowl Championship Series standings and was ranked No. 6 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, the Associated Press Top 25 and the Harris Interactive Poll released on Sunday.
LSU (10-1, 6-1 SEC) will square off with No. 12 Arkansas on Saturday in Little Rock, Ark. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS and CBSsports.com. The winner will be in prime position for a BCS Bowl — or even better.
The Tigers had the exact number of votes in the Coaches’ poll as the previous poll. The top eight teams remained the same, as only Nebraska dropping from the top 10. LSU fell one spot in the AP Top 25.
