BATON ROUGE – LSU student-athletes representing a multitude of sports took time to interact with middle and high school athletes as part of FCA’s Field of Faith held inside the Carol Maddox Fieldhouse.
The event was hosted by LSU’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes in partnership with FCA of Greater Baton Rouge.
Soccer’s Courtney Alexander, football’s Eric Reid and former baseball player Micah Gibbs joined Josh Laravia from LSU’s Refuge College Ministry in speaking to the group of 150 people. The student-athletes also led games and shared stories.
“It was a really awesome opportunity to get a chance to spend some time with these athletes that came to campus,” volleyball’s Madie Jones said. “They really look up to the LSU athletes, and you could see how meaningful the night was to them.”
