BATON ROUGE – The LSU Athletics Ticket Office will put single game non-conference men’s basketball tickets on sale Monday morning for LSU home games in November and December.
The Tigers will play five November home games starting this Friday (Nov. 12) with the regular season opener at 7 p.m. at the Maravich Assembly Center against Northwestern State.
LSU also has five home dates in December to conclude the non-conference schedule.
Tickets for non-conference games start at $10 each and $5 for youth (ages 3-12). Tickets may be purchased at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office or online at www.LSUtix.net. For further ticket information, contact the Ticket Office at 225-578-2184 or 1-800-960-8587.
LSU plays three home games in a week to open the season, also playing Nicholls State on Nov. 16 and Tennessee-Martin on Nov. 18. Also in November, LSU hosts Centenary (24th) and Houston (28th).
After the customary break for semester exams, the Tigers host three straight games on Dec. 11 (Central Michigan), Dec. 13 (Coastal Carolina) and Dec. 16 (McNeese State). Former LSU player and assistant Coach Johnny Jones will bring North Texas to the PMAC on Dec. 22 and cross-town rival Southern will come to the Maravich Center on Dec. 27 to conclude home non-conference play.
All LSU home games in November and December start at 7 p.m. with the exception of the Dec. 27 game with Southern which will start at 6 p.m. to allow fans to get home to watch the majority of the New Orleans Saints road game at Atlanta which starts at 7:45 p.m.
Season tickets remain on sale for the 18 home-game schedule that includes eight SEC games starting at $100.
Ticket sales for LSU’s home game on Dec. 18 in Bossier City against Wichita State will be announced in the upcoming days. LSU fans can purchase tickets for the Nov. 21 game in Tupelo, Miss., against Memphis at www.bcsarena.com and for LSU’s game at South Alabama on Nov. 28 at www.ticketmaster.com.
Also remaining on sale are both the Purple and Gold mini-plans that offer tickets to four SEC games during the 2011 portion of the season.
