BATON ROUGE — Coming off a 24-17 loss at No. 5 Auburn, the LSU football team fell to 12th in the Bowl Championship Series standings, the AP Top 25 and the Harris Interactive Poll, and 13th in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll on Sunday.

The Tigers have an open date this Saturday before facing No. 6 Alabama on Nov. 6 in Tiger Stadium. The start time for that game will be announced on Monday. 

Five teams from the SEC West remain in the Top 25, with Auburn and Alabama in the Top 6, and Arkansas and Mississippi State in the second half of the poll.
