BATON ROUGE — The Tiger Athletic Foundation on October 1 held its 12th Annual TAF President’s Cup Championship at the University Club Golf Course. This tournament is held each year to raise money in support of the LSU Men’s and Women’s golf programs. This year, 19 teams teed up to support LSU student-athletes.
With the support of these sponsors along with the participation of the players on the 19 teams, TAF was able to raise over $30,000 for the golf programs. The money will be divided between the men’s and women’s programs and will go a long way to ensure that the teams continue to compete at a championship level.
TAF congratulates the winners of this year’s President’s Cup, Team Hillman, which was presented with the trophy by TAF Senior Vice President Rick Perry and LSU System President Dr. John Lombardi on the 50-yard line prior to the LSU-Tennessee football game. Team members include Mike Hillman, JR Holden, Jimmy Ledoux and Jared LeBouef.
The Tiger Athletic Foundation thanks all that participated for making the TAF President’s Cup Championship a resounding success.
