BATON ROUGE – The LSU Marketing & Promotions Department has announced the promotions schedule for nine home matches during the 2010 LSU Soccer season, which kicks off with the opener on Sunday at 1 p.m. against the South Alabama Jaguars at the LSU Soccer Complex.
In addition to the special promotions listed below for each home match, fans have a chance to take part in a series of season-long promotions during each home game.
During each home match during the 2010 season, four fans will win an LSU Soccer Prize Pack. Lucky number stickers will be placed on gameday programs and will be distributed to fans free of charge as they enter the north entrance of the LSU Soccer Complex.
Fans can also look forward to Corner Kick Giveaways as a lucky number will be announced whenever the Tigers line up for a corner kick. One lucky fan will receive an LSU Soccer Prize Pack.
During selected home matches this fall, youth soccer teams from the various soccer associations and clubs in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas will be invited to play a soccer match at halftime in front of the LSU Soccer fans. Matches will last approximately 10 minutes while the teams are in the locker rooms.
Not only that, but before each home match, kids in attendance will help form the pre-match tunnel and all will be given an LSU Soccer flag to help create a spirited atmosphere as the Tigers take the field.
