BATON ROUGE – The LSU Athletics Department is combining with the College of Music and Dramatic Arts to conduct National Anthem Auditions on Aug. 28 at 10 a.m.
The event will be held at the School of Music Recital Hall at the corner of Dalrymple and Infirmary Drive. The auditions are for those interested in possibly singing the anthem at various athletic events on campus.
LSU faculty, staff and students along with the general public can take part in the auditions. Auditions can be either vocal or instrumental. Vocal auditions must be performed a cappella unless accompanied by instruments.
In addition to solo performances, the athletics department and college of music is also encouraging ensemble and collaborative auditions.
