In LSU’s three-game sweep at Tennessee, Hanover hit .545 (6-for-11) with one double, six RBI, three runs, two steals and a .667 on-base percentage. He was 3-for-4 at the plate in the Tigers’ Game 1 victory on Friday night with a double and a career-high four RBI.

Petersen, a freshman right-hander from Hallsville, Texas, earned the win in the first game ever played at the Minnesota Twins’ new Target Field in Minneapolis.

Petersen tossed 6.2 scoreless innings for the Bulldogs Saturday against the University of Minnesota.  Petersen also pitched two scoreless innings versus Grambling earlier in the week.
