BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team will host fourth-ranked Ohio State on Tuesday at 2 p.m. CT in W.T. “Dub” Robinson Stadium.
 
“Ohio State has been one of the top programs in the country for the last several years,” LSU head coach Jeff Brown said. “We look forward to this match every year as a benchmark to see where we are as a team, and it will be good to play on our home courts.”
 
The Tigers (5-8, 2-3 SEC) split weekend competition as LSU upset No. 21 Wake Forest on March 19, 4-3, before the team fell in a Southeastern Conference clash with second-ranked Tennessee, 7-0.
 
LSU features standout sophomore Neal Skupski at No. 46 in the rankings with an overall 15-12 record. Skupski also leads the team in doubles with partner Roger Anderson at 5-8 on the season.
 
Ohio State holds a 14-1 record with its loss coming to top-ranked Virginia Feb. 14, 4-1. The Buckeyes ride a six-match win streak as they enter competition with the Tigers.
 
Ohio State records four players in the national singles rankings led by No. 17 Chase Buchanan (14-4).The Buckeyes also list No. 26 Justin Kronauge, No. 74 Dino Marcan and No. 117 Shuhei Uzawa. Marcan and Buchanan team up for the No. 43 duo with a 3-1 record.
 
LSU and Ohio State are tied 5-5 in the all-time record with the Buckeyes taking the last meeting between the two teams in Columbus, Ohio, 7-0.
