BATON ROUGE – The LSU softball team has postponed its Wednesday game against Nicholls due to weather concerns. The game will be made up on Tuesday, March 23 at 6 p.m. and season ticket holders will use their original Nicholls tickets for admission to the rescheduled contest.
LSU (18-4) also moved up to No. 14 and No. 15 in the latest editions of the USA Today/NFCA and ESPN.com/USA Softball Top 25 polls released Tuesday.
The Tigers will carry a 13-game winning streak into their SEC opener at South Carolina this weekend. All three games of the series will be broadcasted live on ESPN Radio 104.5 and 104.9 FM in the Baton Rouge area with Patrick Wright and Matt Dunaway set to call all of the action.
