BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team took time during the Mardi Gras holiday to visit the young patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
The members of the team went from room to room and spent time with the children and their families.
“Seeing the kids today was a great experience for all the guys on the team,” LSU junior Cody Loup said. “We saw how lucky we are to go out and do what we love every day by playing tennis. Those children were an inspiration to us all.”
The team will return to action on Feb. 20 against the Virginia Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va. The matchup between the 34th-ranked Tigers and sixth-ranked Cavaliers is slated for noon CST at the Boyd Tinsley Courts.
