BATON ROUGE – Season and individual game tickets are now on sale for the second season of LSU softball at Tiger Park.
LSU has already sold out of chair-back seats and fans are encouraged to get their season tickets to guarantee great seats for LSU’s impressive home slate that features 16 games against 2009 NCAA Tournament teams highlighted by match-ups against Michigan and Georgia, a pair of Women’s College World Series squads.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.LSUSports.net, the official Web site of LSU Athletics. Ticket also can be purchased in person at the ticket office on the first floor of the Athletics Administration Building or by calling (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587.
Bench-back seating in sections 102 and 106 is available for the first time ever in Tiger Park. These outstanding seats are located directly behind the first and third dugouts. The season ticket price is $75.
General Admission seating in sections 101 and 107 along with outfield berm seating also are on-sale. LSU students, faculty and staff are admitted free to Tiger softball games with a valid LSU ID.
The Tigers posted a school-record attendance for the third consecutive season as LSU averaged 1,153 fans in 20 dates for a total attendance of 23,057.

Fans are encouraged to vote for Rachele Fico at www.USASoftball.com as the freshmen pitcher that will have the biggest impact on the 2010 season.
A Night with the Tigers
LSU softball diamond backers are invited to attend ‘A Night with the Tigers’ Friday at Tiger Park. The event starts at 4 p.m. with a team scrimmage. Afterwards, players will pair up with diamond backers for a gameday experience that features pre-game rehab/treatment routine, locker room superstitions, a motivational video viewing and more. If there is inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Saturday at Noon.
