BATON ROUGE — Production of LSU’s 2010 Baseball Media Guide is underway and fans can pre-order copies online now at www.LSUsports.net. Cost of the media guide is $15, which includes shipping and handling. Geaux Zone members can purchase the guide for $7.50 while supplies last.
The media guide is 208 pages and features an in-depth look back at the 2009 national championship season, along with updated biographies and statistics on the 2010 players and coaches. The guide also includes a comprehensive section detailing the rich history of the Fighting Tiger baseball program.
Delivery of pre-orders will begin on February 17. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery via USPS.
An electronic version of the finished product will be available to view online starting February 4 on LSUsports.net.
Also available online is the 2009 LSU Baseball Media Guide, which has been discounted to $7.50 ($5 for Geaux Zone members).
The 2010 season begins on February 19, when the Tigers play host to Centenary in Alex Box Stadium. LSU is ranked No. 2 in the 2010 Collegiate Baseball newspaper preseason poll and No. 3 in the Baseball America magazine preseason poll.
LSU welcomes back 15 players that made significant contributions to the 2009 national championship drive, including seven position players with starting experience and eight pitchers that recorded innings last season.
