BATON ROUGE — The LSU men’s tennis team remained at No. 29 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings released on Tuesday by the ITA.
The Tigers are slated to begin dual competition on Friday at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend hosted in Tallahassee, Fla. against 19th-ranked Louisville in the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
Each of the 12 Southeastern Conference teams posted in the national rankings, and three cracked the top 10. Tennessee checked in at No. 5, Georgia at No. 7 and Ole Miss at No. 10. Outside the top 10 were No. 11 Florida, No. 14 Kentucky, No. 22 Auburn and No. 25 Alabama. No. 43 South Carolina checked in behind LSU along with, No. 49 Vanderbilt, No. 54 Arkansas and No. 67 Mississippi State, respectfully.
