BATON ROUGE — The LSU women’s tennis team jumped one spot to No. 28 in the latest rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers moved up after blanking UL-Lafayette and Prairie View A&M at home.
Only team rankings were released, so sophomore Whitney Wolf remained at No. 120 with a 12-6 overall record.
Nine of the Southeastern Conference’s 12 teams registered in the top 30, with Georgia listed highest at No. 4.
The Lady Tigers (2-0) will be back on the courts Friday to face Auburn (1-1) at noon CST in Los Angeles at the ITA Kick Off Weekend.
