BATON ROUGE – When the sixth-ranked LSU gymnastics team opens the season at 7 p.m. CT Friday against Maryland, Tiger fans will not only have an opportunity to see an excellent display of gymnastics, but they will also have a chance to receive prizes and experience other promotions.
Tiger fans will have their first opportunity to welcome back LSU’s four All-American seniors in Sabrina Franceschelli, Summer Hubbard, Susan Jackson and Kayla Rogers as well as the rest of the team that is coming off back-to-back NCAA Super Six appearances.
All fans in attendance will receive free hot chocolate courtesy of LSU athletics and Tiger concessions, and the first 500 fans will receive a free Super Tiger Fan t-shirt.
Groups of 10 or more will also receive free admission to the meet. For more information on free admission, click here.
Softball head coach Yvette Girouard will serve as guest coach for the meet.
In between rotations during the meet, fans will be treated to performances from the LSU cheerleaders and Tiger Girls who will perform their routines that they will showcase at the 2010 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships in the spring.
Also during the meet fans will have the opportunity to have fun with the popular dance cam and kiss cam as well as other interactive experiences.
Season tickets are still on sale and are only $30 for adults and $18 for youth. All season ticket holders will receive an Ashleigh Clare-Kearney bobble head doll commemorating Clare-Kearney’s school-record two individual national titles she won in 2009.
