BATON ROUGE — Sophomore Whitney Wolf of the LSU women’s tennis team checked in at No. 120 in the first spring rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Tuesday.
Wolf, a Pride, La., native, led the Lady Tigers in the fall with a 10-3 overall record, including a 6-2, 6-4 victory over DePaul’s preseason-ranked No. 66 Anna Redesci at the Rice Invitational.
The Lady Tiger advanced to the semifinals in both singles and doubles in the ITA Southern Regionals competition and claimed the Harvard Invitational Flight 1 championship match.
As a team, LSU posted at No. 29. Ten of the Southeastern Conference’s 12 teams registered in the top-30.
